Who is Frances Tiafo?

Frances Tiafoe is an American tennis player who became a professional player at the age of 16. He was born in Heightsville, Maryland, and his parents immigrated to the United States from Sierra Leone to escape the Civil War of the 1990s. His father helped establish the Junior Tennis Championship Center at the University of Maryland in Parker, where Tiafo’s training began.

Before becoming a professional player, Tiafi was ranked second in the World Youth Ranking of the International Tennis Federation.
