James will become a star this summer-but on the screen, not on the court. The 36-year-old James faltered due to an ankle injury, which forced him to miss most of the 2020-21 season and play in the playoffs while still recovering from the injury. James said he plans to take a vacation in the summer to correct his ankle.
According to Joe Vardon of The Athletic, not only is James expected to miss this year’s Olympics, but also Lakers teammate Anthony Davis will not appear on the team.
